There is no greater gift than the gift of children! Sara accepted the Lord at an early age while attending a Baptist school.   Spending most of her life in church, Sara, did not become truly involved until 2004.  Sara always had a love for children but struggled to find her place.  Through the years, Sara had faced many struggles, all caused from not following the path the Lord has set before her.  Through those experiences, her relationship with the Lord grew and she was finally able to live a life the Lord had planned for her.

A native Texan, Sara graduated from Taft High School in San Antonio.  At 19 years old, Sara married her husband Joe and started her life as a military wife.  The first year of marriage, the couple was blessed with a beautiful little girl, Abigail.  The military was good to her family and in 2004, after moving around, they were stationed back in San Antonio.  That year, Sara started attending Church on the Rock/Emmanuel Worship Center and became an active helper in the nursery.  Little did she know, the Lord was grooming her for a life in ministry.  Sara continued to help out, even after the birth of her second baby, Gabrielle, in 2005.

In 2007, she was asked to take the position of Nursery Director, and that was the beginning of one of the greatest adventures.  Sara loved helping out and with every moment spent with the children, her love for them grew.  That is not the only thing that grew; her relationship with the church family, staff, and above all, the Lord, grew by leaps and bounds.  In 2009, Sara accepted the call of the Lord into ministry as the Director of the Rock Solid K.I.D.S. Children’s Ministry.

This amazing ministry is reaching out to the children as the Lord commanded. “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)  Here we treasure each and every child and show them the love of Christ.  It is truly a blessing to be able to show your child the love the Lord has shown us.  We look forward to worshipping, learning, playing, and getting to know your children.
