Pastor Lupe has been serving the Lord Jesus Christ by teaching the Word of Faith for over 27 years. He is the Assistant Senior Pastor for Emmanuel Worship Center where he and his family have been in attendance for almost twelve years.
Pastor Lupe has a unique way of unfolding the scriptures so that the Bible is easily understood simply by reading it verse by verse. His teaching ability is anointed by God and many lives have been changed by the Lord Jesus Christ. Faith, Confession, The Authority of the Believer, Deliverance, & Divine Health are just a few of the areas Pastor Lupe teaches under God’s anointing.
His desire is to help all Born Again Christians experience their personal relationship with Jesus Christ in a way that enables them to walk and talk with the Holy Spirit on a moment by moment basis. This is his hearts passion because he says, “There is coming a day in which we’ll need to hear God so clearly that it’ll be a matter of life and death.”
Because of Pastor Lupe’s passion he is developing, on an on going basis the “Life Circles of Influence.” This is where he personally teaches Life Circle Leaders how to walk closer to the Lord and experience God’s leading in their daily walk. These leaders are being hand picked by the Lord. Each Life Circle Leader has a circle of influence that consists of 6 to 8 people who are serious about their level of faith and are moving closer to God at any cost. A Life Circle is a circle of influence. It is also a place of support, encouragement, refuge, prayer, accountability, and results. Our walk with God is a Holy walk and He is calling each of us to “step up” to what He has already ordained for each of his children.
Pastor Lupe and his wife, Mary Helen, are both Board Certified Faith Based Counselors. They partner together to minister in the area of counseling & deliverance to many hurt and wounded Christians in the body of Christ as the Lord leads. Scores of lives have been changed by the Lord Jesus Christ under this ministry. Pastor Lupe says “God always does His part we just need to show up and be obedient to His calling.”
In 1982 after receiving his own deliverance, God impressed upon Pastor Lupe, to “go and teach my people that they don’t have to be bound by Satan any longer”. In the early days Pastor Lupe has often said that he felt he had to “literally run to keep up with what God was teaching him”.
As he grew in the Lord he never knew what God had for him in the ministry. He says he devoured the bible because he needed some peace in is own life, not to get in ministry. Then as the Lord sent him person after person, God began their healing process and lives were changed, and people were delivered from bondage and set free. Today this all still takes place as God send’s person after person to Pastor Lupe and Mary Helen for their unique way of sharing God’s word. They understand grace & mercy, and at the same time are firm in their no nonsense methods. Don’t hesitate to stop either one of them and introduce yourself, get to know them. They are God’s gift to the body of Christ.
He holds a BA from Jacksonville Theological Seminary, and AA and BA from The Sure Foundation Theological Research Institute, as well as a Board Certified Faith Based Christian Clinical Counselor Certification from the International Institute of Faith Based Counseling, in Beaumont, TX.
