God Wants My Sacrifice of Thanksgiving
March 12 – Today mediate on: God Wants My Sacrifice of Thanksgiving
Psalm 107:22, “And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and rehearse His deeds with shouts of joy and singing!”
There will be times in your life when you will feel it is a sacrifice to thank and praise God, especially when you don’t understand what’s going on in your life. But let us sacrifice what we feel and see, what we understand in the natural, and take a leap of faith and command our body to praise the Lord in words, song, and lifted hands. The supernatural is more real than the natural realm.
“Prayer Requires Worship:
“Do I know what it means to enjoy God’s presence?
“Prayer is the instrument of the life of worship, it is not worship itself.”
– Oswald Chambers
Acts 3:19, “So repent–change your mind and purpose; turn around and return [to God], that your sins may be erased (blotted out, wiped clean), that times of refreshing–of recovering from the effects of heat, of reviving with fresh air–may come from the presence of the Lord.”
Meditate on this verse all day long and see what God will speak to your heart! God is always reaching out to us with love and forgiveness. In His presence is everything we need for life and godliness. (NS)
