God Wants Me to Seek Him Above All Else

January 12 – Today meditate on: God Wants Me to Seek Him Above All Else

Foremost Necessity of Your Life

Ephesians 2:3, “Seek the Lord—inquire for Him, inquire of Him, and require Him [as the foremost necessity of your life]—all you humble of the land, who have acted in compliance with His revealed will and kept His commandments; seek righteousness, seek humility—inquire for them, require them [as vital].”

This verse, and so many like it, is vital in our Christian walk if we expect to be victorious, happy, blessed, etc., in life. “Seek the Lord” and He will be found by you if you seek Him with your whole heart. He desires to have a relationship with you. Think about this: Almighty, All-Sufficient God, Infinite, the More-Than-Enough, Who spoke words and the world came into existence, wants to fellowship with finite YOU! Wow, totally awesome!

“Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and door will be opened unto you,” Matthew 7:7-8. You must ask, seek and knock. Sometimes the one thing we won’t do is “come to Jesus.”

Take time today to walk and talk with God. You’ll never be disappointed! If you’ll show-up, He’ll show-up.

Isaiah 52:12, “…the Lord will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard.”

Vs. :13, “For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; I Who say to you, Fear not, I will help you!” (NS)

Vs. :15, “…make you to be a new, sharp, threshing instrument having teeth…”

According to Isaiah 41:15, “I will thresh the mountains and beat them small, and shall make the hills as chaff.” (NS)
