God Sends Out His Word
March 9 – Today mediate on: God Sends Out His Word
The Word Goes Forth
Psalm 107:20, “He send forth His word and heals them and rescues them from the pit and destruction.”
Prayer Requires Patience:
What do I do every day that is more important than spending time with God?
How often do I whine and cry instead of watch and pray? - Oswald Chambers
Read: Psalm 66:9, 19-20; 67:19, Psalm 42. Hope in God, His help receiving.
Hope in God. When all hope is gone there is despair, BUT we have a heavenly Father who hears and answers all our prayers. Circumstances might be coming in like a flood, seemingly to overwhelm us, BUT GOD is our “shelter and strength, a very present help in time of trouble.” Fear and anxiety are not from God. He wants you to “rest” in Him and “see the salvation of the Lord” work in your life.
Stand up, recruit in God’s Army, and put your Armor (Ephesians 6:10-18) in place. God is your Rear Guard. Always be prepared for the battle arrayed in the splendid Armor the Almighty God has supplied for you.
So stand and see God’s mighty hand in your life. Has He not said and will He not keep His word? Help is as near as your cry to God. He hears. He will answer you.
“Desiring to divert my mind from my hopeless condition, I fixed my eyes on _______.”
“Prayer which takes the fact that past prayers have not been answered as a reason for languor, has already ceased to be the prayer of faith….the lessons and examples of our Lord all tell us that prayer which cannot persevere and urge its plea importunately, and renew, and renew itself again, and gather strength from every past petition, is not the prayer that will prevail.” —William Arthur.
