God Satisfies Me With Good Things
March 18 – Today meditate on: God Satisfies Me With Good Things
Psalm 103:5, “Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity & desire at your personal age] with good; so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle’s [strong, overcoming, soaring]!”
“My God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus,” Philippians 4:19.
“With my whole heart have I sought You, inquiring for and of You, and yearning for You; O let me not wander or step aside [either in ignorance or willfully] from Your commandments,” Psalm 119:10.
“Glory in His holy name; let the heart of those rejoice who seek and require the Lord [as their indispensable necessity]. Seek, inquire of and for the Lord, and crave Him and His strength [His might and inflexibility to temptation, seek and require His face and His presence continually] evermore,” Psalm 105:3-4.
From Guideposts, Aug. 1998:
“The true measure of loving God is to love Him without measure.” –Bernard of Clairvaux.
“Every man’s life is a fairy tale, written by God’s fingers.” –Hans Christian Andersen.
“God believes in me;
therefore my situation is never hopeless.
God walks with me;
therefore I am never alone.
God is on my side;
therefore I can never lose.”
A. Philip Parham, from Letting God, 1987 Harper San Francisco. (NS)
