March 8 – Today mediate on: God Promises to Lead and Guide Me
But Which Way?
Psalm 107:7, “He led them forth by the straight and right way…”
Isaiah 30:21, “Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way, walk in it, when you turn to the right hand and when you turn to the left.”
God’s ways are always best. We might not understand the way He is leading but we can certainly trust our Creator. Song: “Put your hand in the hand of the Man who stilled the waters, put your hand in the hand of the Man who calmed the seas. Take a look at yourself and you will look at others differently, by putting your hand in the hand of the Man from Galilee.”
Sometimes
Sometimes the way seems dark
Sometimes the way seems drear
But we can always, always know
Our Savior is always near.
He does not lead us into danger
Nor let one unnecessary pain be ours.
“He makes us lie down in green pastures
…leads us beside the still waters…”
Because He’s here, because He cares
we can walk with Him all the days
of our lives in perfect peace and joy.
Josh. 1:9, I have commanded you to: Be determined, be confident, be strong, courageous, and not dismayed.
Dismayed means to deprive of courage, resolution, initiate, through the sudden pressure of fear though perplexed.
Perplexed – you feel you don’t have a way out.
1. Be strong -
Know you have a call on your life.
Be faithful – Joshua was Moses’ minister, a servant to Moses.
Be full of faith. (NS)
