February 27 – Today meditate on: God is My Strength
God’s telephone number: Jeremiah 30:3, “Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, with you do not know—do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand.”

We have no strength of our own. Real strength for today comes from God in our quiet-time with Him, as we draw from Him the needed resources for today. One of the most valuable lessons we can learn is that we are so very weak and God is so very strong. That only when we admit that we are weak and ask for God’s help can God move in our lives. “Not by might, not by power, but by My Spirit says the Lord.” “In Him we live and move and have our being.” In Christ, vitally united in Him: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Jesus said that without Him we could do nothing. “My God has become my strength.”
Has He become your strength for today, or are you still trying to rely on your own resources? Real strength comes when we are willing to admit that we are weak and totally dependent on God’s grace and mercy. In Him is all I need for today and everyday. Tap the unlimited resources of your birth-right in God.
Strengthen yourself in the Lord today and everyday in a “Sweet Hour of Prayer.” Nothing can take the place of a quiet-time with God.
