March 5 – Today meditate on: God Is GOOD, All the Time! He’s a Good God

Choose Life – Choose the Goodness of the Lord

Deuteronomy 30:14-16, 19 “See, I have set before you this day life and good, and death and evil. [If you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which] I command you today, to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His ordinances, then you shall live and multiply, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess…I call heaven and earth to witness this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse; therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may live.

According to these verses we have a choice. We can choose “life and good” or “death and evil.” The choice is ours. God never forces His will on anyone. God’s way is always best; it is always life and health, joy unspeakable and full of glory.

“He knoweth the thoughts that He thinketh toward me, thoughts of peace and not of evil.”

Isaiah 63:7, “I will recount the loving-kindness of the Lord, and the praise-worthy deeds of the Lord, according to all that the Lord has bestowed on us.”

“Haste, gather up thy wants, and bring them here–thine emptiness, thy woes, thy needs. Behold, this river of God is full for thy supply; what canst thou desire beside? Go forth, my soul, in this thy might. The Eternal God is thine Helper!”
