Compassion and Mercy
Isaiah 54:7-8, “…but with great compassion and mercies I gather you to Me again….with age-enduring love and kindness I will have compassion and mercy on you, says the Lord, your Redeemer.”
“His mercies are new every morning. Great is His faithfulness.” O how grand and glorious is the mercy, grace, loving-kindness, and compassion of the Lord our God! He delights in His children and in lavishing gifts upon us each and every day. “Blessing (praise, laudation and eulogy) be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah, Who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual (Holy Spirit given) blessing in the heavenly realm!” Ephesians 1:3. The word bless means to enable, to empower. Christ is the Anointed One, the burden-removing yoke-destroying Anointed One. Since God the Holy Spirit lives in us we have this burden-removing, yoke-destroying anointing and the burden-removing yoke-destroying Anointed One. God wants to see us totally set free from every hindrance, stumbling block and entanglement. “Who the Son sets free is free indeed,” John 8. (NS)
