God Gives Me the Treasures of Darkness
December 15 – Today meditate on: God Gives Me the Treasures of Darkness
Isaiah 45:3, “I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that it is I, the Lord, the God of Israel, Who calls you by your name.”
God’s Word is Alive and Active
One day I was thinking: how can the Bible, just being ink on paper, affect me? I’ve always said, “I must have the Word every day. It is literally strength to me.” The Holy Spirit quickened to me, Hebrews 4:12, “God’s word is alive and active, operative, energizing and effective; sharper than any two-edged sword.” That’s how. God’s word is not just ink on paper; it is alive and He is alive in me right now. Jesus and the Word are One. Because I am in Christ—the Anointed One, I have the burden-removing yoke-destroying anointing in me that is powerful—burden-removing, yoke-destroying. That’s how God has done the miraculous things in my life. He used only His Word to heal, deliver and set me free. “Man does not live by bread alone, but my every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God,” Matthew 4:4.
According to:
Genesis 1, “And God said, ‘Let there be…’ and there was….” Things came into being just by God speaking words filled with the power of The Almighty, More Than Enough, God.
John 8:31-32, So Jesus said,…“If you abide in My Word—hold fast to My teachings and live in accordance with them—you are truly My disciples. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set me free.”(NS)
