God Forgives Me; God Will Heal Everything
March 16 – Today meditate on: God Forgives Me; God Will Heal Everything
Psalm 103:3, “Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each of] all your diseases.”
I would have not known the mercies of God if I had not been afflicted.
Faith – Condition of successful prayer.
Mark 11:24,“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Jesus often said to the people, “Your faith has made you whole.” (cont. on nt. pg.)
Why do we worry and question and doubt? Have we not asked the Almighty, All Powerful God, and will He not perform His Word for us? God is not deaf that He does not hear, nor blind that He does not see.
What was the condition of our prayer? Did we pray believing that God would answer, or do we still hang on to one small thread of doubt? Why is it so hard to just let go of all inhibitions and throw ourselves totally upon the mercy of God? Ponder, think about, the worries that creep in, the questions, the doubts. Do they come from God, no. They come from ourselves or from the devil. God wants us to take possession of all believing faith in Him and His Word!
Proverbs 15:15, “All the days of the desponding afflicted are made evil [by anxious thoughts and foreboding], but he who has a glad heart has a continual feast [regardless of circumstances].”
STOP feeling sorry for yourself. These thoughts are from the enemy – the devil and your own sinful nature; self-pity if satanic. Like the song says, “I read the back of the Book and we win!” The choice is yours. Dr. Charles Stanley says that self-pity is satanic slush.
1 Corinthians 2:12, “Now we have received the spirit (that belongs to) the world, but the (Holy) Spirit Who is from God, [given to us] that we might realize and comprehend and appreciate the gifts (of divine favor and blessing so freely and lavishly) bestowed on us by God.” (NS)
