God Commands My Praise

March 13 – Today mediate on: God Commands My Praise

Every Little Fiber of My Being Must Praise God!

Psalm 103:1, “Bless—affectionately, gratefully praise—the Lord, O my soul, and all that is [deepest] within me, bless His holy name!”

Lay your hand on your chest and command your soul saying, “Bless the Lord O my soul and all that is within me bless His holy name. For He has done great things for me. His mercy and loving-kindness are new every morning. Great is His faithfulness to me. He heals all my diseases and delivers me from all my distresses. I will bless the Lord at all times. His praise shall always be in my mouth.”

Prayer Requires Worship:

“How will I pray and how will I behave today in response to the assurance

of God’s sovereignty?

Pray because you have a Father, not because it quietens you, and give

Him time to answer.” –Oswald Chambers

“I do not deserve that You should hear me and answer my requests, but for the sake of my precious Lord Jesus; for His sake answer my prayer, and give me grace quietly to wait till it pleases You to answer my prayer. For I believe You will do it in Your own time and way.”

“‘For I shall yet praise Him.’ More prayer, more exercise of faith, more patient waiting, and the result will be blessing, abundant blessing. Thus I have found it many hundreds of times, and therefore I continually say to myself, ‘Hope thou in God.’” —George Mueller.

Psalm 43:5, “Why are you cast down, O my inner self? And why should you moan over me and be disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him; for I shall yet praise Him, Who is the help of my (sad) countenance, and God.”

Faith that goes forward triumphs.” –Mrs. Charles E. Cowman. (NS)
