February 21 – Today mediate on: God Always Fulfills His Promises to Me
Every Place, Not Some Places
Joshua 1:1-9, “Every place upon which the sole of your foot shall tread, that I have given to you, as I promised…”
“Every place?” yes, every place. Where did your feet travel today? Every “place” in your life—home, school, job, shopping, etc. God has given you dominion, He’s provided victory in every circumstance in your life. (In 1998 the Lord told me, “Nancy, be victorious IN IT!) Well, isn’t that going to give God more glory in the situation than if I quit? In Christ Jesus we are more than conquerors through Him Who infuses us with inner strength. Wherever you feet took you today, you have the peace of God, the patience of God, the joy of the Lord, etc., because you have Jesus. Every place you walked today you were a light in a dark place. We are always to let our light shine before men. Perhaps you didn’t like some places where your feet took you today. Today I didn’t like one of the places my feet traveled – my car broke down…but God took care of everything as He always does. Praise God for His constant caring attention and provision. (NS)
