God’s Compassions Fail Not
December 13 – Today meditate on: God’s Compassions Fail Not
Lamentations 3:22-26, “Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassion’s never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. I say to myself, ‘The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for Him.’ The LORD is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the one who seeks Him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.”
Every day:
- Having a quiet-time with God is an absolute necessity.
- Pray – all the time – talk to God openly and honestly. Allow Him to become your “bestest” Friend.
- Read the Bible – it will energize your life; read a few verses, or several chapters, meditate on them, memorize them.
- Be very careful of what you (or your children) hear, see and read.
- Use a good devotional book – Streams in the Desert, My Utmost for His Highest, etc.
- Seek God with all your soul, mind and strength and only seek Him. Allow Him to become everything you need.
- Draw your strength from Him.
- Find God’s promises for you, claim them, and stake your life on them.
- Stop – criticizing, murmuring and complaining; being discouraged and upset.
- Starting right now determine to become a positive speaking and positive thinking person.
- Determine to realize the presence of God. He’s always with you – closer than your very breath.
- Rejoice evermore. (NS)
