God’s Compassions Fail Not

December 13 – Today meditate on: God’s Compassions Fail Not

Lamentations 3:22-26, “Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassion’s never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. I say to myself, ‘The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for Him.’ The LORD is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the one who seeks Him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.”

Every day:

  1. Having a quiet-time with God is an absolute necessity.
  2. Pray – all the time – talk to God openly and honestly. Allow Him to become your “bestest” Friend.
  3. Read the Bible – it will energize your life; read a few verses, or several chapters, meditate on them, memorize them.
  4. Be very careful of what you (or your children) hear, see and read.
  5. Use a good devotional book – Streams in the Desert, My Utmost for His Highest, etc.
  6. Seek God with all your soul, mind and strength and only seek Him. Allow Him to become everything you need.
  7. Draw your strength from Him.
  8. Find God’s promises for you, claim them, and stake your life on them.
  9. Stop – criticizing, murmuring and complaining; being discouraged and upset.
  10. Starting right now determine to become a positive speaking and positive thinking person.
  11. Determine to realize the presence of God. He’s always with you – closer than your very breath.
  12. Rejoice evermore. (NS)
